Yesterday, after I'd gotten my fourth (of fifth?) school report - which wasn't good - I finally did what I'd been wanting to do for months. And what I should've done a year go.

History of the story:

Two years ago, the last day of school before our Easter vacation, I told my second best friend (whom I will call 'I' I couldn't have her near me. After the Easter vacation I'd been acting mean towards her for a few months, and then eventually I could have her near me again.
A year later, the same happened. I said the exact same thing on the exact same day. I'd even been so mean to her that she went to another group of girls in our class. A group she's still with these days. Of course, eventually I could have her near me again.

The present history:

Now, after I'd gotten my school report and had cried somewhat (yeah, I cried) she hugged me to comfort me. When we were done hugging and she wanted to leave, I stopped her and pulled her aside (thank you narrow hallways...). And I apologized. It went something like this:

"Hey, uh, I..."

"What?"

"You remember what happened last year and the year before?"

*starts laughing awkwardly* "Yeah, I do."

"Well, I-I wanna say-I'm gonna cry right now-I wanna say that I'm sorry." *starts crying and hugs* "I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have been so mean to you, you didn't deserve it. You're such a wonderful person and I was so mean."

*cries too* "No, it's my fault."

"No, it's not. It's my fault and my fault only, I'm sorry."


Then I apologized three more times. I made poor girl cry because I cried. But darn, I feel freakin' good. Best feeling ever if you ask me. For now, that is.

And when we went to our last class of the day I looked behind me suddenly saw her crying again, and when I went to her and asked her what was wrong she told me she was sad because she made me cry. I told her she shouldn't have been sad ^^ She's a wonderful girl, really, it's me who was stupid.



Also, now that I'm busy telling stuff, yesterday during and after our last class I got somewhat depressed.

One: Because of my bad report.

Two: Because I realized I was (and still am) the one comforting everyone (although seven friends or something comforted me in class). The thing is, I don't have anyone I can hold on to when I'm sad. Sad sad. When someone offers comfort I push whoever it is away.

Yeah, I hate myself for that.
